Recommendations for BSR agreement on transboundary MSP consultations

In order to set conditions for a continuous transnational MSP coordination, based on project learnings Baltic LINes will develop recommendations for a BSR agreement on transboundary consultations on linear infrastructures within the MSP process. These recommendations will be presented to the HELCOM-VASAB MSP Working Group.

Thus not only planning solutions but also consultation procedures with regard to cross­border and transnational issues might be aligned in the future among planning authorities within the Baltic Sea Region, contributing to the objectives of the EU MSP Directive with regard to cooperation among neighbouring states.

The main responsible project partner for developing these recommendations is Maritime Office in Gdynia.
