Open Survey: How Are Organizations Integrating Climate Risks into Coastal and Maritime Planning?

Your input matters!

The Baltic PlaNet project platform has launched a survey to better understand how municipalities and organizations across the Baltic Sea Region currently address climate change and extreme weather events in coastal and maritime spatial planning.

The survey is intended for:

  • Representatives of local and national government institutions
  • Non-governmental organizations working on coastal and climate-related issues
  • Research and educational institutions
  • Spatial planning professionals and practitioners
  • Anyone involved in coastal zone management

The survey results will support the project’s goal of strengthening climate-resilient planning across the Baltic Sea Region by helping to

  • Understand current planning practices and key challenges
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Adapt the Sea2Land Navigator tool to real-world needs
  • Strengthen climate-resilient planning approaches across the Baltic Sea Region

Please provide your expertise in the survey until 23 May 2026. Access the survey here.

We encourage you to share this survey within your network. The more responses we receive, the better we can support climate-resilient coastal planning throughout the Baltic Sea Region.

Project is financed with the contribution of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region
