Parallel session: Safety and Security of Supply in the Baltic Sea
The Baltic Sea region faces geopolitical tensions. The session explores how these challenges and threats impact spatial planning at sea and on land. Marine sectors will reflect on their current situation and challenges. The aim of this session is to form a shared view on how planning needs to adapt to support security of supply and the overall safety in the region.
This session will explore:
- Challenges faced by sectors regarding safety and security;
- Role of MSP and planning in the current geopolitical situation;
- Reflect on the necessity for local, regional, national and international cooperation.
Target audience: Maritime spatial planners and land-use planners, marine sectors.
