About event
On 4 March 2026 in Brussels, Belgium, Northern European Sea Basins (NESB) project will organise an expert workshop on governance of MARIPARKS. This workshop is organised back-to-back with the European Ocean Days 2026 in Brussels.
The expert workshop will focus on how to align MARIPARK governance with ecosystem-based approach, identify missing incentives for MARIPARK development, and how to balance economic drivers with ecological resilience.
The workshop is part of the NESB project’s work package 4 “Multi-use in practice” activities, participation at this event is by invitations only.
