Expert workshop on Maripark concept / NESB project
About event
As part of the Northern European Sea Basins project’s (NESBp) ongoing efforts to explore the practical implementation of Multi-Use in European seas, an expert workshop will be held on 2 July in Venice, focusing on the MARIPARK concept.
The MARIPARK concept is being used within the NESB project Work Package 4 as a central tool to integrate multi-use thinking at a concrete, operational level.
The MARIPARK approach enables stakeholders to identify and address current limitations in governance and policy, paving the way for the establishment of sustainable multi-use areas. The upcoming workbench session (workshop) will focus specifically on the development of MARIPARK scenarios. To this end, a selected group of experts has been invited to contribute to in-depth discussions and exchange ideas on scenario-building.
The workshop is organised back-to-back with the final event of the MSP4BIO project, allowing NESB project to capitalise on synergies and draw on the expertise gathered for this high-level event in Venice.
Please note that this is an invitation-only workshop.
