Final Conference of BSR Access Project Platform
About event
The final conference of ‘BSR Access’ project platform will be organized online on 16th March 2022, 10:00-12:00 CET.
The event will discuss the project platform achievements and what challenges and opportunities can be identified for a further integration and collaboration along the TEN-T Core Network Corridors in the Baltic Sea Region. The conference will be joined by the European Coordinator for the TEN-T North Sea-Baltic Corridor Mrs. Catherine Trautmann, high-level representatives of the partner organizations and key stakeholders, including VASAB CSPD/BSR Chair Mr. Daniel Meltzian.
For over three years the BSR Access project platform has facilitated innovative and sustainable transport by creating linkages between traditional infrastructure nodes and smart transport solutions to further develop the TEN-T Core Network Corridors in the Baltic Sea Region. By this the platform has supported policy makers on the European, national and regional level in fostering access to clean, efficient and multimodal transport corridors in the BSR.
The goal of the BSR Access platform was to create synergies between the involved projects by collecting, summarizing and spreading good practices and to promote multi-level and multi-stakeholder corridor governance. In the final conference the BSR Access partners will share the progress made, especially on the achieved interoperability that elaborates on the interaction between regional and transport development, complexity of mega-projects as stimulators of economic activity, deployment of clean fuels, streamlining of supply chain processes as well as transport development in first and last mile connections.
