NESB project at the GNSBI Technical Meeting

On 14–16 April 2025, the technical meeting of the Greater North Sea Basin Initiative (GNSBI) will take place in Hamburg.
The meeting aims to advance the work of the GNSBI and explore interlinkages between the Working Tracks and existing fora. As part of the agenda, an information session on the Northern European Sea Basins (NESB) project will be held, focusing on the following key topics:
- Insights from the eMSP NBSR project, highlighting project outcomes and the most relevant recommendations for GNSBI;
- Lessons from the Baltic Sea Region, including an overview of the governance and policy framework for Maritime Spatial Planning;
- Cross-sea basin dialogue, with the goal of understanding current needs and interests to strengthen future cooperation;
- Opportunities for joint work, exploring how the NESB project aligns with GNSBI goals and how collaboration can be structured moving forward.
