Baltic SCOPE Towards coherence and cross-border solutions in Maritime Spatial Planning Project's lifetime: March 2015 – March 2017 Total Project's budget: € 2 638 829 The overall objective of the Project: to come up with common solutions of the cross-border maritime planning leading to greater alignment of national plans. It is a unique exercise to challenge countries involved, learn from the gained experience and transfer the knowledge beyond the Project and the Baltic Sea Region.

Baltic LINes: Coherent Linear Infrastructures in Baltic Maritime Spatial Plans Project's lifetime: March 2016 – April 2019 Total project budget: € 3 409 458; European Regional Development Fund: € 2 674 451,50. The overall objective of the Project: to increase transnational coherence of shipping routes and energy corridors in Maritime Spatial Plans (MSP) in the Baltic Sea Region (BSR).

Technical Assistance to the EUSBSR Horizontal Action „Spatial Planning” Project's lifetime: Jan 2013 - Jan 2014 Budget: € 66 667 The overall objective of the Project: to strengthen implementation of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, in particular its Horizontal Action "Spatial Planning". VASAB is co-leader of the Horizontal Action. The project had two specific objectives: enhancing policy development and preparation for future projects within Horizontal Action.

Horizontal Action "Spatial Planning" Support Project's lifetime: 22 May 2015 – 30 June 2016 Total project budget: € 117 646 European Regional Development Fund: € 99 999 The project aims to support objectives assigned in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region in Horizontal Action (HA) Spatial Planning, co-lead by HELCOM and VASAB. The project involves related activities of both organisations to improve coordination, stakeholder involvement and achievement of the strategic targets of the HA Spatial Planning.

BSR-TeMo - Territorial Monitoring for the Baltic Sea Region ESPON 2013 Programme project Project's lifetime: February 2012 – January 2014 Budget: € 340 000 BSR-TeMo promotes territorial development and cohesion in the Baltic Sea Region (BSR) by developing an indicator based monitoring system. The monitoring system will measure the progress in achieving economic, social and territorial cohesion in the BSR by using indicators at different scales. This will contribute to increased knowledge and understanding of territorial cohesion processes in the BSR. Geographically the whole of the BSR, EU as well as none EU-member States, is covered.
